This week has been a busy week in The Business Classroom office. Launching e-courses for clients, setting up affiliate programs, and website maintenance.
The world of business this week has been really busy – leading up to the end of financial year we will start to see special offers, promotions and discounts – but don’t get sucked into the pretty objects world.
Do you really need another course? Could that money that you invest in that new course go towards paying someone else to do the job for you….? Are you really going to even spend time doing the course?
I also did my first every Periscope!!!

Social Media Updates
Saved Replies on Facebook Page Messages
I love the new “canned” response feature on Facebook!!
This is great for businesses with large numbers of enquiries, you can now set up canned responses for your common asked questions, and also allows you to quickly acknowledge the enquiry if you can’t answer it right away and let them know when you are available to answer the enquiry.
Responsive to Messages Icon
You might have noticed a couple of pages with the little green icon next to the message button.
This is the new “Very Responsive to Messages” Icon, that Facebook is rolling out.
I have attached the Facebook policy for how you are tested and eligible to receive the icon.
When was the last time you checked how your blogs are published on Facebook?
This week we saw a glitch with WordPress / Facebook where an Indian man (Praveen Patel) was being credited with writing other peoples blog’s when people posted blogs onto Facebook.
Why is this an issue?
You have spent the long hours and put in the hard work – you should be credited with what you write. It also can affect credibility if people see the blog post published on social media, it not only could drop your open rate for the post but it could possible turn people off your blog.

I have seen a similar issue with web developers writing their details in the code of your website to get publicity so always keep an eye on your blogs when people are sharing them on social media that all the information is correct.
